Product Roadmap
Product Journey
How the Journey Works
Every feature moves through the same five stages. Track feature progress on this page as it progresses from stage to stage.
- LISTENING — We’re gathering feedback and learning what matters most. On the radar, not yet started.
- DESIGNING — We’re defining the experience: what it does and how it should work.
- BUILDING — Our engineers are actively developing it.
- TESTING — It’s built and being validated with a handful of customers before a wider release.
- RELEASED — It’s live and available to everyone.
RELEASED
• Available to All Customers
Nothing sits here yet. Features move to Released once the new platform goes live and is available to every customer. Everything in Testing below has been built and is being validated with a small group of associations first — that’s the last step before it’s released to everyone.
TESTING
• Being Validated with Select Customers
Built, in use, and being walked through with trusted clients ahead of general availability.
Members
- Every member in one place — contact details, the household they belong to, and the property they’re tied to
- Filter the member list by role, then act on exactly that group
- Deleted members stay visible in a filtered view, and can’t be edited or deleted again by mistake
- Bulk actions apply to exactly the members you’ve selected, even as you change filters
Why it matters to an administrator:
Board turnover stops erasing institutional memory. The next secretary inherits a current member list, not a folder of somebody’s exports.
Properties & Addresses
- Every property in the association, with its address and its owners
- Several owners at the same address — joint owners, a trust, a couple who both want access
- The property is the unit of record, so dues and communication follow the home rather than a person who moved
- Addresses can be verified on entry, so mail reaches the right place
Why it matters to an administrator:
Joint owners, rentals, and mid-year sales stop being corrections you make twice — dues follow the home, not the person who moved out.
Login & Identity
- Secure sign-in for members and administrators
- Members reset their own password from a link emailed to them — no waiting on a volunteer
- Sign-in is handled by a dedicated identity service rather than something we rolled ourselves
- One account per person, so who did what stays clear
Why it matters to an administrator:
You stop being the person who resets passwords for three hundred people.
Invoicing
- Bill on a monthly, annual, or one-time schedule
- Choose exactly which properties a schedule applies to — filter, select, and your selections stick while you keep filtering
- Invoices go out automatically once a schedule is running
- Members see current and past invoices, so “what did I pay last year?” answers itself
- Invoices are generated as a PDF members can save or print
Why it matters to an administrator:
Assessment season stops eating a week of your life, and nobody has to remember to send anything.
Flat Fees
- Charge a fixed amount alongside regular dues
- Late fees apply automatically to overdue invoices, with the member emailed when they do
- Late fees post to their own revenue account, so the books show them separately
Why it matters to an administrator:
Late fees get applied the same way every time, so enforcement stops feeling personal — it’s just the policy running.
Online Payments
- Members pay online by card or bank transfer (ACH)
- Funds settle to the association’s own account — we never hold your money
- Payment applies against the invoice automatically, so nobody reconciles it by hand
- Members get a PDF receipt automatically, showing whether they paid by card or ACH
Why it matters to an administrator:
Fewer checks to collect, log, and drive to the bank. Collections improve because paying is easy, not because you chased anyone.
Member Account Balances
- Every member sees what they owe and what they’ve paid
- Open invoices and payment history in one view
- The most common question a treasurer gets, answered by the member themselves
Why it matters to an administrator:
Kills the single most common question a treasurer fields, without a volunteer answering it.
Financials
- Real double-entry books behind the association’s money, not a spreadsheet
- Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Budget — Summary and Actual-vs-Budgeted
- Record expenses and manual entries when something happens outside the normal flow
- The reports your board meeting and your audit need come out of the system that holds the money
Why it matters to an administrator:
You can hand an auditor real books instead of reconstructing the year from a spreadsheet in March.
Document Storage
- Governing documents, minutes, and notices in one place your members can actually find
- You decide who sees what, folder by folder — board-only material stays board-only, while bylaws and minutes are visible to every member
- Members only ever see and download the folders they’re authorized for — nothing else is visible to them
- Change permissions across many folders at once when you reorganize, rather than one at a time
- Organize into folders, with the structural ones protected from accidental deletion
- Upload in bulk, and search, filter, and sort to find a document again
- Share a document by link
- Delete in bulk when you’re cleaning up, with a confirmation step and a trash can before anything is gone for good
Why it matters to an administrator:
A records or disclosure request becomes a link instead of a scavenger hunt — and board-only material stays board-only.
Email Communication
- The system emails members when something concerns them — an invoice raised, a payment received, a fee applied
- Emails show your association’s name as the sender, not a generic system address nobody recognizes
- Invoices and receipts travel as attachments members can keep
Why it matters to an administrator:
Members recognize who’s emailing them, so notices get opened instead of filtered.
Organization Mass Email
- Email your whole membership, or a filtered slice of it
- Filter by role, select all, then include or exclude individuals — and your selections survive changing the filter
- Sent from the system that already knows who your members are, so no stale distribution list
Why it matters to an administrator:
One announcement reaches exactly the right people, without maintaining a distribution list that’s already out of date.
Notifications
- Members are emailed as things happen to their account — an invoice issued, a payment taken, a late fee applied
- Notices go out on their own, so nothing depends on a volunteer remembering
Why it matters to an administrator:
The follow-up happens whether or not anyone remembered to do it.
BUILDING
• Engineering is Actively Developing
Custom GL Accounts
- Your chart of accounts, in your association’s language.
- Start from a standard chart of accounts, ready to use
- Rename accounts to match what your board and auditor already call them
- Add accounts you need — local and sales tax, additional funds
- Retire accounts you don’t use, without losing past reports
- One consistent way to pick an account everywhere in the system
Why it matters to an administrator:
Your auditor’s chart of accounts in your board’s language — no translating at year-end, and no fighting a template built for someone else’s community.
Address Validation
- Addresses are checked as you enter them, with corrections suggested
- Accept the suggestion, or keep what you typed
- Every address shows whether it’s verified
- Mailing to an unverified address warns you it may not arrive — the choice stays yours
Why it matters to an administrator:
You find out an address is wrong before you pay to mail to it.
DESIGNING
• Defining the Experience
Bank Reconciliation
Reconcile what the bank did against what your books expected. You stay in control of matching — the system assists, it doesn’t reconcile on its own.
- Connect a supported bank account so transactions arrive automatically
- See what your books expected beside what the bank actually did
- Match one deposit to several invoices, including payments that came in short or over
- Record bank-only items — fees, interest, an unexpected check — without leaving the screen
- Mark items cleared and drive the difference to zero
- Starts with one operating account; more accounts and more banks follow
Why it matters to an administrator:
The month-end spreadsheet goes away and the books actually tie to the bank — the thing every treasurer dreads, and the reason boards switch platforms.
Member & Property Imports
Load members and properties from a provided template
- Everything is checked and previewed before anything is created
- See row by row what will happen, and why anything failed
- Duplicates caught, including several members at one property
- A row can add a member, or a member and their property together
- Fix the rows that failed and upload again
- Why it matters to an administrator:
Onboarding a community, or moving off another platform, stops meaning weeks of typing.
Physical Mail (Invoices and One Time Mailers)
For the members who don’t engage online.
- Mail invoices by post, with a code to scan and pay online
- Choose which invoice schedules go out by mail
- Covers households with no email on file
- Send a one-off mailing when you need to
Why it matters to an administrator:
Reaches the members who never log in — usually the same ones hardest to collect from.
LISTENING
• Gathering Feedback
Workflows & Requests
One system for the forms your association runs on, replacing five separate tools with a single configurable one.
- Five workflows ready to use out of the box — Violations, Architectural (ARC) Requests, Work Orders, Maintenance Requests, and Tickets
- Turn on the ones your association uses and leave the rest
- Customize the form fields on any of them — add, remove, rename, and reorder to match how your community actually works, instead of living with a fixed form
- Fields for every kind of answer: text, numbers, dates and times, phone, email, ZIP, dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes, and instruction blocks for wording your board wants members to read
- Questions that adapt — show, hide, or require a field based on an earlier answer, so nobody wades through questions that don’t apply to them
- Members submit for themselves where you allow it; admins can submit on a member’s behalf
- Forms fill in what the system already knows about the submitter
- One list of every submission across every workflow, so nothing sits in a separate inbox
- Open any submission to see its full detail
- Renaming a field never loses what people already submitted
Why it matters to an administrator:
Violations, architectural approvals, and work orders stop living in email threads and spreadsheets. Every request has a record, a status, and a history — which is exactly what you need when a decision gets challenged.
Financial Reports
- A Download action on every financial report
- The PDF matches what’s on screen, honoring the period and filters you’ve applied
- Covers the reports that ship today: Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Budget (Summary and Actual-vs-Budgeted)
Why it matters to an administrator:
The board packet stops requiring screenshots.
